Playing in my neck of the woods soon, are they worth checking out? Haven't listened to them in years...

I saw them in 96 at a festival and they killed it....
BUT
I saw them open for Dinosaur JR ( i think it was dino they opened up for anyway they were the opening band) a year or so ago and they were good.

Asheville 04
Atlanta 12
Greenville 16, Columbia 16
Seattle 18
Nashville 22
Ohana Festival 24 x2
I was just gonna post that I saw them open for Dino Jr a few years ago, and they were just alright.... actually they were the first band, Dinosaur was the 2nd band, and the main act was Built to Spill. I went mainly to see Dinosaur Jr. It wasn't a good night for any of the bands, though. And the audience was ultra-hipstery.
