Panda Bear Person Pitch

I always had trouble getting into Animal Collective but Panda Bear's(Noah Lennox) Person Pitch album might have changed all that. This album is incredible. I haven't listened to Tomboy yet but plan on doing so this week. It's amazing how he uses all these samples so effortlessly.     Every member of Animal Collective puts out great stuff. A lot of people are quick to hate them just because Pitchfork raves about them constantly, but they are well worth the time checking out their stuff.

    Most people would probably say Person Pitch is better than Tomboy, but I think Tomboy is an absolute masterpiece.

    I was one of those people at first too but this album changed that. As far as Animal Collective I only like Feels and MPP so far. Strawberry Jam is decent.

    Person Pitch is pretty fantastic, my favorite Animal Collective-related record not named Merriweather Post Pavilion.

    Still need to listen to Tomboy, will probably wait until finals are over so I can give it some time.

    I got into Animal Collective pretty recently, so Pandabears stuff is even newer for me. But after listening to both of those albums I would have to say Tomboy is significantly better. I love the style of the music but it needs to be atleast a little bit accessible and catchy for me. Tomboy is that album.

    anyone who is interested in animal collective and likes some good mood music...you'll need to check out their ep "campfire songs"...it's only 5 tracks, put they are long, so it plays like a full length album. great stuff.
