Do any of you lovely people have any weird traditions/rules/rituals that you follow when rooting for your favorite teams?
My buddy and I wont sit in a certain section of safeco field because the M's are literally winless when we sit in THAT section (we go to a shit ton of games).
We still wont watch Seahawks games at one of our friend house because of the 2005 superbowl.
anyone else?

i still have a few though.
After one season I put him in a jar for the entire off season and didn't let him out until spring training.
Me I like to sit on a certain side of the couch, and if I happen to move positions and my teams do poorly I always readjust.
And yes, we're still putting it out.
Hahahaahaha, I love this!
my only superstition involving the Cubs is to try not to get my hopes up and pretend like i dont care in hopes that they will stop purposly breaking my heart every year ---- :ugeek:

don't shave unless the teams I support are out
If that's unclear then I'll clarify ... no, I think it's kind of silly.

although earlier this baseball season I noticed that the Braves seemed to do really well when I watched them while walking on the treadmill...then they go to LA and lose three of four (parts of all games seen while walking) then go and sweep the Giants (watched, but not while walking) so I let that possible one go...
soooo....have you shaved or not for hockey?
good question, are you a Bruins fan Max or what?? It's hard to tell.
agreed....well, '08 for me
Whenever I'm watching a close White Sox game in the late innings, I usually turn the volume down really low...sometimes off completely. I think it just helps to relax me since I get so stressed out in those tight situations.
