Flaming Lips @ the Hollywood Forever Cemetery

The Lips are playing 2 shows (one Soft Bulletin, one Dark Side of the Moon) at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Anyone seen a show there? Apparently they've got a few venues, a small inside venue, and then outside. The Lips will be playing outside, presumably serenading the likes of Johnny Ramone, Dee Dee Ramone, Charlie Chaplin, and Alfalfa, all of whom have 'taken up residence' at the cemetery.

It's a long haul for a weeknight show, but it seems like a totally unique experience.

    I saw BOH do an acoustic show in the Masonic Lodge at the cemetary. It was a bit creepy walking past the gravesites on the way to the venue.

    Would love to see them do the Dark Side of the Moon set.

    I've got tickets to one of their UK shows this summer, but now clashes with my trip to LA to see EV. D'oh!

    I would love to see one of these shows, especially Dark Side. I love the Lips but I've never seen them live :-(

    We got tix for both nights.....looking forward to it!

    I am hoping that Rollins sings with them!
