Terrible, he needs to go away on a lengthy Trent Reznoresque break so he can come up with some decent songs. Sucks because the last EP showed some promise.

What he really needs to stop doing is calling his band "the smashing pumpkins". this is not the pumpkins, nor is anything without atleast Jimmy.

Zwan was more Pumpkins than whatever it is he's doing now, since Jimmy was with him and he still wrote good songs.

I like it, shows a different dynamic and offers a change of pace rather than Corgan rewriting the same song 30 different ways.

  • BILLY, I LOVE (most of) YOUR MUSIC, BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP USING SYNTH ON ALL THE NEW TRACKS. IT'S TERRIBLE! I feel like I'm listening to music from the Victorian era with these tracks.

I hope one day he can stomach releasing all the Zwan unreleased stuff. That would kick ass.

Yeah it would. Have you heard some of the Djali Zwan links? "Wasting Time" is great. If Billy is out of ideas for electric songs it would be nice to hear an acoustic album from him with no synths and bloated bullshit over it, just him and a guitar.

He should have sold that song to bieber.

Ho hum. It's weird how Billy used to be such a perfectionist back in the day, and you could tell that he had genuinely slaved away to get all the layers of guitars etc all perfect. What the fuck happened?! He used to knock out classics in his sleep, and now we get shit like this every few months :? In retrospect I think people should have given Zeitgeist more of a chance, there's some good stuff on there, and at least he was still trying, plus it might have saved us from this!
