Just want so say what an awesome song...Ed nails it with totally haunting melody to it...

Hope and it deserves to be played live someday...

    I picture a dark show house .... opening song
    we have not yet seen him

    Eddie standing on stage no light
    this beautiful song begins, his heavenly voice fills the hushed room, his inspirational lyrics
    take everyone ... there

    then lights up gradually with his final line ....."I'm falling safely to the ground"

    crowd goes wild! we are all one in this incredible song! :D



    I've lived this song so many times ... my eyes closed... alone in the dark
    it is by far my most personal and most loved.

    Only thing I can't agree with, is the crowd going wild...cuz I know I won't be able to make a sound .... not a sound..I get so choked up just hearing it...if it happened so perfectly like that...well, there's no return :)

    It WILL be played in Hartford. Although the longest nights are certainly not around June 18th...

    A friend said he played it at the Perth solo gig (first show), but we were in a pub and it was loud so maybe I misheard him. I was desperate for Ed to sing it at the second show but out of luck there (but Arc was amazing)

    I could clearly picture that in my mind and really wish it'll happen somehow soon.
    It's always been my favourite off of ITW, it's the voice we all love, combined with those words that evoke wonderful feelings every time.

    One of the best songs off of Into the Wild. It's a shame it's never been played live.

    Yeah he must've been screwin with me and I was on too much of an Eddie 'high' from the 2nd gig to realise!! It would be sweet at the Festival...
