Double bill of The Flaming Lips and Weezer with Yeasayer as opener at Jones Beach 7/29 and PNC Bank Arts Center 7/28. Incredible line-up, I gotta be there! (P.S. PNC lawn seats are 32 bucks- WHAT A STEAL!)

Just to warn you in case you have not been there yet- the PNC lawn is far away and the sound is not that good.

I got a kick out of what it said on Weezer's site about the shows. The shows are being opened by Yeasayer, and weezer will play in the middle slot... because the Flaming Lips make such a big mess that its sort of logistically unwise to take the stage after them! But Weezer and the Flaming Lips will be playing identical set lengths.

 @ they make such a big mess.

Warning noted, but being someone who's broke but has a concert addiction, considering the epic line-up I may have to take the price of this one over distance/sound!

Somebody shout "Release Alone volume 3, already!" to Rivers Cuomo. It was supposed to be out in October and has the unreleased songs off of "Songs from the Black Hole."

By the way, Weezer these days is pretty sad.

I don't blame you. And I did not want to make it seem like it won't be worth the money, just letting you know my past experiences. Hell, if bands I love are playing there I will be back anyway.

Don't worry about it, didn't make it seem like it wouldn't be worth the money!
