To shoot or not to shoot?

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/police ... 6048016258 Shoot! Another violent junky off the street and time and money saved by avoiding the court proceedings. Do not know why people criticize cops for shooting when their lives are in danger, I'd like for these critics to be in this situation.
