NO! It's very exciting to hear him on it. Don't mind if I never get a request played, just listening is good enough for me :D:D

I did have a request played on the Radio 1 on the Anne Nightingale show over here when I was about 16, it was The Doors, Light my fire. Takes me back .....

I enjoyed that track a lot! Honestly can't wait for the album to get here! Chris called in and threw me for a loop of confusion, I mistook him for a fellow DJ.

when you go to the utahfm site, click on "Stand Alone Pop up player"

since that is flash based, you will need android 2.2 or higher. (froyo, gingerbread or honeycomb)

The phone told me the other day that it needed an update so I did it. Not sure what it was though.

Didn't think to do stand alone though.

    Thank you :D

So, no more Elmore James or Robert Johnson ... but Dio is fair game? ha ha.

Are you trying to stay within a specific time period on this new paring down of genre?

No, I'm just trying to keep things under the umbrella of 'alternative rock', which really could cover a lot of what I listen to and like to play. It's pretty expansive, so I figure it gives me a lot of range.

Old alternative, new alternative (indie, if you will), and like I mentioned, I will certainly dip into artists that could be considered founders or originators of the whole "alternative" tag.

As always though, request what you want and I'll play it. It's not like I can't branch out... and I certainly do love my share of blues.

The Dio goes with out saying.

Got it working on my phone so just peeled potatoes and got the rest of tea ready while listening. Off to tidy the bedroom now.

Unfortunately can't do anything else on my phone whilst listening and when the screen goes blank sound goes of. Still enjoying it though even with the little gaps :D

The Wedding Present ... dammit, everyone should familiarize themselves with these guys.

A post punk band that got completely looked over in the time of grunge.

    Thanks DC!
