where - at my friend Mary's house - she made me a mix tape w/ 3 PJ songs on it (along w/ a bunch of other great music)
songs - Alive, Jeremy, and Once (Got hooked immediately)
I believe it was the first time "Alive" was aired... At least a few members were interviewed. Damn that was a long time ago!!
dude, I think I WAS watching the first time it was aired!
I remember being PISSED. I was babysitting this family who always conveniently forgot to have cash on them and they were hours late as usual, I was allergic to their pets, the kids wouldn't go to bed, and I wasn't really that into rock at the time so I was pissed that the only thing I could find on TV was headbangers ball...
and then eddie vedder opened his mouth and I was like, holy shit.
and I just remember thinking I have never seen/heard anything like this before.
I think that's the moment I became a woman .
sorry, broke my own rule about the stories . Eh, f-it.
Age: 17
