Looks like for some scumbags a death penalty is the only solution.

I think wishing death on someone is just as bad as killing them.

And before someone says they're guilty (i.e. not innocent), we're ALL guilty of something. Nobody is innocent.

Mr Grant said that when DNA evidence linked him to the attack, Best told police: "I couldn't control the urge.''

Binde and quater him, he had his day's in court and blew it..twice.
or should we kiss his ass and put him in a protective cell (so nobody can hurt him) because sure don't want one of those big bad inmates violating his rights, sound about right ? people like this don't need to be given the death penality..just put them in the general population cell's in the prision system and things will work them selfs out, some of the other inmates cant control their urges either.

It's pathetic and barbaric to wish things like this on ANYONE. You really should be ashamed that you're no better than that.

Did you get the kick in the teeth? If not, why would you be wishing rape and beatings on someone who didn't do anything to you? (Not that it's any better even if it were you who was victimized). It's a bad state of mind to wish bad things on anyone - no matter who they are or what they've done.

Know1 I just get a kick out of comments you and others make calling people pathetic and barbaric,
I was laughing because you're quick to use these words to discribe someone whos opinion or ideas of justice are different that yours, what makes us so different that you can use those words to discribe me or anybody else,do you feel that you are in some way better than me or that your opinion or idea's are superior to mine ?
just for the record my idea of pathetic and barbaric run along the lines of things that this guy who beat and raped 2 young girls in their homes, would you call that "pathetic and barbaric" ? is it pathetic that you would use the word barbaric to diecribe me because of a statement I made on this thread ? ya gotta laugh at the irony...or my spelling LOL!! but don't think too much about it because most of us do it.

I'm not using those words just because you have a different opinion. If someone likes a PC over a MAC, I don't call them barbaric. I'm saying that in this case because that's the way I feel.

Wishing rape and harm on someone is pathetic. And it's not about them or what they did. It's about YOU wishing that someone would be raped and beaten.

I can't really see how you can justify it.

Are you serious? You think having a thought is the same as brutally killing someone and ruining many people's lives? If that's your opinion I respect it but I strongly disagree. I don't think this guy should get the death penalty but I agree with Godfather..just put this guy in general population and let things work themselves out. Why should he get special treatment? Should he get a hug? I won't be hoping that he gets beaten but will at least be glad he won't be able to hurt another innocent victim.

I also don't think it's barbaric for one to want this guy to experience the hell of what he put those girls through...maybe if he knew how it felt he would be better at controlling his "urges"? His actions are barbaric, not Godfather's opinion.

isen't odd that people want equal treatment (and I agree with that) untill they are in prision, then at that point some prisiners are put in proctive cell's (rapeist, pedifiles, gay's) all these people are seperated from the general population to protect them no mater what their crime was, the prison in san diego called Donovan state pen has whole areas that house pedifiles to keep them safe from the guy's in GP..while they commited their crime they had the whole country to terrorize rape and kill with no borders, I realize that state has rules for this stuff but just seems kinda odd to give a criminal of such crimes special treatment.

Oh bullshit, it is not even close to being the same thing. And while everyone is guilty of something, speeding hardly equals rape/murder, etc.

OK. I'll give that it's not AS BAD as actually killing someone.

But....there's nothing good or justifiable about advocating someone's murder.

If we wish rape on someone, no matter what they did, isn't that saying rape is okay?

Isn't condoning prison rape/violence just condoning violence? Rape is NEVER okay. Period. End of discussion.

From what I've read on individuals who commit these crimes, it is true that they (the majority of sociopaths, narcissists, one's who bear no relationship with empathy etc.) can't relate to the pain and suffering that their victims are experiencing during the act of violation. Some even believe that they are helping and/or protecting their victims from some other evil while they invade them, abuse them etc.

My point is that, new (experimental) treatments with either pictures of their crimes and/or the actual victims present again (rare), are being used now to try and associate the criminal to the feelings of their victims. It has worked in some cases but when your fuked for whatever reason, you're fuked.

This guy should have never been let out, that's for sure. Not only can I not imagine what it would be like to have a daughter experience such a reality but I certainty can't imagine that the system is any better than a crime. :|
