My handwriting is going to be tested in an exam

I am worried, I have poor handwriting and I have to be able to write in NSW foundation handwriting both print and cursive for my final exam. I can write neatly to a point, but I suffer when my hand aches (after a very short period like one paragraph) so, it becomes easier (and essential, especially in exams) for me to write messier (not illegible) as my hand does not cramp as much. I saw several people to try and help me when I was a kid, from 7-13, but nothing helped...
I know I am wanting to be a teacher and children need to learn how to write neatly, but I am still worried that I will get marked down for something I know I will struggle at... I have emailed the course convener, I shall await her response...

Thanks for the tip, but I have tried it all. Especially when there is a time limit, the pen runs faster.
Last exam I was in, it was the worst exam of all time, it was really hard and one of the 2 sections (worth 50% of the exam) was based on a question we had only touched on. It stuffed a lot of people up. I had nothing to write, and I wrote for one and a half pages. I looked at the clock and all I could think of was 'I could stay here and write about something I know NOTHING about, or I could leave now, and hopefully be home in time for the big game on TV....'
So I left (helped by the fact I was doing really well in the subject, a H.D and a couple of Distinctions), so I got hope just after the match started... and I somehow managed to pass the exam I thought I failed...

Big, scrawling handwriting makes defects stand out.
Good luck!

Don't panic, it will not be a long section to write, but remember you will be expected to use neat NSW Foundation writing in the classroom at all times.
Almost suggests someone with bad handwriting can't become a teacher... Bullshit... I'll be fine...

Does your uni have support services? When there was a valid medical reason, some students at my uni used to have writers for their exams. They would take their exam in a different room and would have to dictate what they wanted written. Or could you even provide them with a doctor's note of some kind?
Can they deduct marks if you don't write in the foundation font for your exam?

When I was in HS, mum and Dad were going to buy me a lap top so I could do my work etc on it... but I said no, cause I didn't want to be different (difference in schools means getting picked on) and I copped plenty of flack for my writing over time...
I have contemplated special consideration, but I will at least practice... I am not looking for an easy way out...

When I was studying my uni would actually pay me to provide them with lecture notes from some of the lectures that I was already going to for my course. My notes went to some students who had difficulty writing their own lecture notes.
Keep practicing with your handwriting, but if there is a valid medical reason why handwriting can be difficult for you, then I see no harm in getting some sort of doctor's note, just so your exam marker is aware that you're not writing messily out of laziness.
