Has anyone read any books by this author? Please tell me that someone else has...

If you have, you'd understand why I put this on AMT.

nope. but a quick search brought me this

In April 1991 he announced on the BBC's Terry Wogan show that he was the son of God, and predicted that the world would soon be devastated by tidal waves and earthquakes. The show changed his life, turning him practically overnight from a respected household name into an object of public ridicule

I've not read his books, but I'd be interested to know what he has to say. As far as I know he's a bit of a fruitcake.

I wouldn't call him a fruitcake, but he's definitely outrageous. And interesting.

I've never read any of his books, but have watched a lot of youtube stuff about/featuring him...he def seems to believe what he's saying, and has dedicated an obscene amount of time to trying to back up his beliefs....and has convinced a lot of people as well. Some of his followers are about as out-there as you can get....
I didn't realize he called himself the song of god? I thought he was the one with the Anunnaki/Nibiru theories on human origins? Wouldn't that be contradictory? Or wait...does he say the Annunaki come from another dimension? I dunno, but I have to admit this stuff is a total guilty pleasure for me. His theories are almost as absurd as some of the major religions ;)

Icke has changed his tune a *number* of times in his career, *particularly* with regards to Jesus Christ.
In fact, the *only* thing that has remained 100% constant is his absolute polar distance from the Biblical Jesus.
Watch David Icke Debunked if you can sit through 2 hours of youtube Anti-Conspiracy-Theory-Conspiracy-Theory. The video is *highly* "illuminating" as it were.

You will see just how fundamentally similar ALL of David Icke's seemingly discrepant theories have been to the backbone of New Age thought. It is the only other constant in Icke's work. He supports the fundamental statements of theosophy and new spiritualism and rejects categorically any Biblical interpretation of Jesus Christ. This is standard New Age strategy ... destroy belief in Christianity, support belief in a heterogeneous all-encompassing "New Age" religion.

This would all be fine by me, if i didn't know the New Testament to contain some pretty radical commentary on the social order of the time (still relevant) and the schemes of the powerful to manipulate humanity in to false worship ... and at the same time, knowing what i know about the New Age movement and their insistence on getting people to what one could perceive of as "false worship".

Don't forget, Bailey's publishing company was "Lucifer Trust" (change to "Lucis Trust") ... and Blavatsky's maganize was called "Lucifer".

    ??? hmm ???

Watch Aquarius - The Age of Evil for a skeptical Christian look at the New Age Movement ... including Zeitgeist, the New World Order itself, and most of its more original authors (Bailey, Blavatsky, Pike, Hall) ... it's not a perfect documentary by any means, and everyone must decide what is truth for themselves ... but it certainly begs the question as to why, if the New Age Movement is in possession of such profound truths about reality and humanity (and claim to be guardians of these truths for the masses) then why is it they can provably be shown to be lying outright repeatedly in their heavily propagandized points (like that jesus is just a solar or astrological symbology ... which is verifiable as 100% bullshit) ... ???
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

My only experience is that I'm reading "I am me, I am Free: The Robot's Guide to Freedom". Almost done with it, it's a quick read. I have no interest on what he thinks of Jesus Christ and the book has nothing to say about his belief to be the Son of God. He talks about some strange shit though, like government sex slaves who are programmed by the global elites and abused by every president since Ford. (There's a testimonial, apparently)

But I do like that, unlike other conspiracy theorists, he keeps his focus on solutions and the topic of love being the one thing we need. That, I do like about him.
