At least he isn't following McCain's insane plea to give them weapons.

This is a pretty risky situation for Obama in regards to the upcoming 2012 elections. If Gadaffi is overthrown and a group takes over that supports Islamic law in the region, the GOP will use it like a 2x4 to beat Obama over the head with.

It would be interesting to see behind the scenes and learn if Obama is manipulating things to favor the U.S. or if he is pussy-footing around the issue and hoping for the best.

I don't calim to undestand why the US keeps doing this but how many times do we have to get kicked in the nutz before we wake up.
Obama will have to pull a rabbit out of his hat to get re-elected,I believe most of the country already knows that he just ain't good at his job and I also understand that being the president must be one of the most challenging positions to be in but man I just don't think he is cut out for that kind of pressure or responsibalty.

his senate had a limited super majority, he had the house up until the midterms...the country and economy isn't responding, the feds irresponsibility with the dollar, high and inflated gas prices, terrible unemployment, leading from behind...His fault or not it doesn't matter. Jimmy carter is the prime example for what will probably happen to Obama...He is a good man with a seemingly good heart but it doesn't matter because of what the country perceives as his failures. He now has quite an extensive record for the republican candidates to tear apart, (as well as actually having to do the job as he campaigns which has to be very difficult)...I just don't know if he has it in him to run as strong a campaign. `change you can believe in` and `yes we can` just won't work to ignite the base...Unfinished business isn't going to cut it as a slogan in a time when people are legitimately angry and suffering...the lesser of two evils won't work either in my opinion. Not saying he is done at all, because he is an amazing orator and will be able to deliver speeches like no one else to rouse the crowds, I just don't see him igniting the country like he did when he was elected. The republicans will certainly be much more motivated and that is going to be hard to compete against...

well as I have said before any president is a pupet, I don't know to what extent or who's hold the strings but i think he did have to agree on the aid to libya to make it happen diden't he ? I 'm asking not telling.
and even before he was slammed with an all republican congress he was like a timmid little boy in his first day at school, much different than his campain attitude he displayed, bottom line in my opinion..he ain't got the balls to be a leader and I believe that comes in part due to lack of experiance in real politics.

^^this. Oration is his strong point, but it has seemingly been false promises. It's just stagnant.

Ofcourse he knows the business he in's. This blame game doesn't apply Godfather. His fault or her fault doesn't apply. The business runs the way the business runs. It just is. It isn't a free for all. What you see, the exchange of 'this and that', has it's place and it's strategy in the 'business.' Once a person clears away from the drama that is easily created by politics, for example, due to a series of human conditions, i.e. self esteem - the want of belonging, he/she can then continue on to seek out the bigger picture.

Jimi Carter's only "mistake" was telling the American public what we needed to do to straighten things out. That cost him re-election, but also, in my opinion, was the right thing to do- telling it like it is. If Obama does the same thing regarding climate change, peak oil, he will prove himself to be an equally great president.

Funny, I had the same sentiments. Led one of my friends to accuse me of being a racist the other night at dinner. Really awkward.

I asked him to name some of the good thing's Obama's done since assuming the oval office from that last fucking idiot who was in there. He just kept accusing me of not liking Obama because I'm "a birther" and "a racist." For the record, I'm neither.

We have hydrogen, which is probably the best way to go regarding fuel source of the future.

But even if we stopped using oil, things in the mid east wont just settle, oil is just part of the story,

If you think Obama won't win in 2012, you have to look at the competition, put him head to head, and then project who people will vote for. You can't make a conclusion that he'll lose because 'someone' could do better. The only thing that really matters in the next year and a half is jobs, of which there will be more, which plays in Obama's favor. Here's poll results vs the embarrassing competition:

the pole results mean little now but still I can't argue your point, it's just my opinion on his re-election and a gut feeling, things could get better in the next year and a half for obama... and they could get worse.

Ben Bernanke said TODAY that the Fed can't take additional steps to try to ease high unemployment without escalating inflation.

If inflation were to accelerate, the Fed would have to raise rates to slow borrowing and spending and blunt price increases. Hiring might then slow.

In fielding questions, he sketched a picture of an economy growing steadily but still weighed down by a prolonged period of unemployment, now at 8.8 percent. He acknowledged the pain that is causing, noting that around 45 percent of the unemployed have been without a job for six months or longer.

"We know the consequences of that can be very distressing because people who are out of work for a long time, their skills tend to atrophy," Bernanke said.

    But he added:

"It's not clear that we can get substantial improvements in payrolls without some additional inflation risks, and in my view we can't achieve a sustainable recovery without keeping inflation under control."

An average of 188,000 private sector jobs were added each month in the first quarter of 2011, which was 12 consecutive months of job growth. lol. Who needs facts though, when you can admire Trump's balls.

You don't help your credibility with your responses, but it is a common conservative response to not reply, or when they do, they don't reply directly to facts that are presented in the discussion.
