if there is one thing this band has always amazed me with ... its hearing demos and being blown away.

I mean most bands can't even put together a produced album with material as tight and and polished as Pearl Jam does in demo. The guitar tones, the song structures, the mixing ... its all at B- level or better ... and they are just demos.

Go listen to an REM demo or something and realize how much production is needed with even the best of bands, let alone the "rest" of bands to achieve the level of acomplishment that Pearl Jam just seems to pull off innately.

    cool site, too
[a couple of those songs on "b-sides" truly are commercialy available b-sides, though. not sure how well that will fly here, among other things. birdman cough cough]
    :D

If I opened it now would you not understand?

there is so much material on this site that it's crazy.

This is without question and without peer the greatest version of Long Road I've heard (complete with choir). It's just so different. And it's on the same link.

The funny thing is I probably know more "rareties" songs by PJ than any commerical songs by any other artist (U2, Petty, etc.). There's scores of them.
