I think it's ace, using technology now to give a different sound
  • The video that accompanies the post explains everything. The remastered reissues are part of the deal they made with EMI to secure the rights to their back catalog, including all of their unreleased material. So the only way for them to get this stuff out there in hardcopy format is through the reissues. However, they also negotiated exclusive rights to handle the digital catalog any way they see fit, without consideration to EMI. Billy mentioned digital box sets, free downloads, etc. But again, putting it out on cd/vinyl requires EMI to have a piece of the pie - hence the reissues.

Looking forward to the new stuff..billy has so many songs that arent officially released so you just dont hear them unless you put the time in to look..great musician and songwriter. All he needs is Jimmy. This song Otawa is great.

I heard a lot of people saying the Pumpkins are a bit hit-and-miss live, but when (finally) saw them @ the Leeds Festival, they were spot on. If they decide to do tours that include them playing Siamese Dream in order from start to finish, count me in.
