Traveling to Seattle for the first time in early June. Going to see Mike at the Mariners game. Can anyone suggest some PJ related places in the Seattle area? Where else should we hit up? Thanks!!

Experience Music Project! Nirvana: Bringing Punk to the Masses. Just went yesterday. Amazing. Also, Easy Street Records of course. There is tons of stuff to do. You could check out Curtis Management too. That is where the magic happens.

Here's a tip from a genuine Seattlite... As soon as McCready is done playing, leave the game  I'd also recommend prepartying at the Pyramid Alehouse, right across the street from the Safe. Alki Beach (where Hunger Strike was filmed) is always a good bet, too. PM me if you want some more tips!

I used the fivehorizons list a few years ago and created my own walking tour of Seattle. It's a very walk-able city and a lot of fun.

One thing from the fivehorizons list is KERRY PARK, which I walked all the way up Queen Anne's Hill to see. Gorgeous views of the city from up there. Fivehorizons said that the sculpture "Changing Form" that is in Kerry Park has PJ significance. Does any one know why?

    From fivehorizons:
Kerry Park. This is a walk, but it's not far, and it's one of the best views of Seattle. And you may recognize the sculpture up there, which does have PJ historical relevance. (We'd rather surprise you.)

It gets cool there; you may need to wear corduroy pants.

Start-up bros, Amholes, delinquint RV's, homeless and a mayor who is more interested in spending money on rainbow colored crosswalks than the city's basic needs.
