Is This An April Fool's Prank?

Okay, so yesterday I posted a thread as an early April Fool's prank entitled "PJ Just Added a 2nd Show" or something like that. It was in mid-afternoon. Some found it funny and some crucified me for it.

Hours later the Ten Club posted this new message about possible new shows. The wording of it is very suspicous, to say the least. Insinuating that there might be a show, but not definitely a show.....hmmmmm.

Here's my theory: It'll come out on Monday at Midnight that it was an April Fools joke, but then there'll be a double twist and the real April Fool's Joke is that the 2 shows listed are actually really happening. I think the 10Club thought more people would be suspicious that this was an April Fool's joke and they wouldn't occur. But I'm going to guess in the end that it happens.

    Just a conspiracy theory. But the wording of their announcement is a tad suspicious, no?

    Dude...they are already acknowledging that the show may happen. So how is there any April Fools Twist...?

    Has the 10c ever played an april fools prank? I'm not so sure that they have. Plus, they'd have an online riot if they got peoples hopes up like that and said 'gotcha!!' ;)

    They would never take something AWAY as an April Fool's joke.

    I can see the thing about the solo gigs actually being supplemented with Pearl Jam, but that would be giving us something more than we bargained for.

    look, I've never seen a post on a band's website that a tour "might" happen. But that would be cool about the Ed stuff.

    Here's the email they sent out in 2006 regarding potential shows:

    The Ten Club would like to offer eligible members the opportunity to reserve
    pre-sale tickets for potential Pearl Jam shows, which could be added to the

    They are waiting to see if and how fast the first two shows sell out with the ticketmaster sale. If they dont sell out fast enough, there wont be second shows. This is why they arent confirming anything yet and are not charging your card..

    Okay, that's great. I didn't see it back in 2006 so wasn't aware. When you read the complete announcement about charging your credit card and having funds available on the 10C site....I guess I was reading too much into it.

    Thanks for the info....didn't see the announcement back in 2006 but I guess that makes sense.
