Tom Petty/Heart breakers-Mojo

Hello, I got a Itunes gift card today and I was wondering if Tom Petty's lastest album is worth getting, from the preiviews its sounds really good! If not, what else should I get? Thanks! :mrgreen:

    in my opinion, yes. Wildflowers is a great album....one of his best....ever. (again, this is my opinion.) but you could d/l Mojo, then buy the Wildflowers CD used on Amazon for $3-4. best of both worlds right there! hell, just get what you want....pm me your address & i'll burn Wildflowers for you. (and any other TP that i have) 8-)

    wildflowers is better.

    One of my personal faves is full moon fever. (It's a TP solo record though) (This was the petty record my parents played when I was a kid. First Petty record I ever heard).

    Also, you may like Traveling Wilbury's and Mudcrutch if you wanna dive into some of Tom's other projects. (I highly recommend both of these at some point). :P

    I got Full Moon Fever a little awhile ago, I really love it!!!! :mrgreen: And I just got Mojo, what an awesome album!!! :mrgreen: Thanks for the tips everyone! :D

    Full Moon fever is easily my favourite petty album... Face in the Crowd and Love is a Long Road really struck a chord in me and running down a dream is a brilliant road song :D

    If you're into his bluesier more basic stuff, get it. If you're into the more jangly/poppy stuff somethin else is in order.

    I like Last DJ as much as any other album of his. Skip Joe the CEO and Man Who Loves Women.

    His Greatest Hits or 2 disc Anthology really covers the bases well

    hahaha at this point i think we'll end up having all his albums mentioned...so just save up and buy them all off amazon...i think they are reasonably cheap. :lol:
