Maybe you can ask David Koresh

Maybe you can find the answer by visiting a factory farm?

wasn't the Koresh deal with branch davidians more about sex with children and child endangerment than it was about religion?

Same thing happens in most Asian countries.

The French eat horsemeat. Why does nobody condemn that?

I don't think they actually found any evidence of that though. I think it was more a case of the authorities clamping down on some people choosing to live independently of the system.

really! glad I could help

you didn't answer my question, again, I wouldn't do it, but if they look at certain animals differently what's it to you? some people think it is disgusting to eat any animals...some think it is disgusting to eat a pig, but bacon tastes good, pork chops taste good...and sewer rat may taste like pumpkin pie but I wouldn't know, I won't eat the filthy mutha fuckers...

so to sum up, who gives a shit what other people eat if it doesn't have an effect on your or other people's lives...and the seen at the end of pulp fiction is one of the greatest of all time.

I don't think China's stupid enough to invade a western country.

The title of this article says 44% of Australians think they will be at war with China.

Hmmm.... quite an extrapolation seeing that only approx 1000 people were asked, that is less that 0.005% of the population of Australia!

So, I am assuming that it is 44% of these 1000 people polled that have this conviction.... pretty low number - not even worth a headline (or the cost of the poll!).

i don't either. they could cripple nearly any country economically simply by calling them to repay their debts to china. that would be the easiest way for china to advance it's standing in the world. it is not as dramatic and intimidating and deadly as a war, but it is easier than and just as effective as war.

Wait. This thread was started because of an article about a poll that says the Austrailian people are afraid of a war with China?
Does this mean that if a majority of people believe it... it is true?
    ...
What does Austrailia have... that China wants? You got oil? If you do, you should probably be more wary of us... than them. We already have a proven track record of claiming our oil is under other people's feet.
And if a war between China and the U.S. errupts... it will more than likely because one or the other nation will make a grab for control the resources... probably the oil reserves in the Middle East.

    Right. 60 years ago.

And how many countries have the U.S invaded/attacked in the last 60 years?
