    This is similar to the way the Chinese authorities behaved towards members of Fulan Gong. Soon they'll be dragged off to detention centers and beaten to death in police custody. Seems like the authorities are clamping down on anyone and everyone they perceive as a threat, or just a potential threat, in this anniversary year of the Communist takeover - artists, lawyers, Christians...e.t.c. Disgraceful.


    Not that the Communist authorities represent 'China' of course. Just as U.S politicians don't represent 'America'. So I take issue with the lame title of this thread.

    Just this month, in fact. But it's pretty common for them to just go into gay establishments, arrest and detain everyone, trump up charges and harass the patrons.


    They'll also just randomly arrest gay people

    If nothing else, I still enjoyed the holiday with family and friends, the things that really have meaning to me.

    "Easter" is just another holiday stolen by the Christians. It came from the Pagan holiday "Ostara" or "Oestra" which was a celebration of spring and fertility. The two pagan symbols of fertility were rabbits and eggs. They'd give red coloured eggs to each other as gifts celebrating spring.

    That's why "Ostara" became "Easter" and it's symbols are a rabbit that brings coloured eggs to the kids. Christians tacked on the "it's when Jesus resurrected" but that's just made up. Like most of their holidays.

    They also stole Yule and called it Christmas.
