Let's just keep the good vibes going...I've been having a rough time with work and feel like I've just been moaning all the time lately and it's time to give myself a kick in the ass and what better way to do it than give something away to one of the many wonderful people here.

I will give away something PJ related to someone at random, it may be something small, or big or rare or cheap but I'll post anywhere and pay shipping. If the winner has it already than just send it to someone else, simple as that!

So what makes you come back to this board on a regular basis?


EDIT: I FORGOT TO ADD A CUT OFF DATE, SO WE'LL KEEP IT RUNNING (AS I'M LOVING ALL THE STORIES) UNTIL THIS SATURDAY AT 8PM IRISH TIME. AFTER THAT I WILL PUT EVERYONE'S NAME INTO A HAT A DRAW OUT A WINNER.

    I'm fairly new here. I've been a long-time PJ fan, and occasional forum reader, but now that I've given up on Facebook I'm having a much more enjoyable time exploring other areas of the net--Pearljam.com forums especially! Everyone seems very nice here; I was especially surprised at all of the RSD hospitality. :D

    Its all the love and respect that we all share for eachother on this board that makes me come back here..
    There no place like this that makes me feel at home..It feels so good to help someone that looks for something and put a helping hand to make it happen...that could be music or words..Even if we never meet in person we will still be friends..Just a awesome place with great people i love dearly....That it in a few words.. 8-)

    There's not much in the way of belonging to a group that feels good, but this place seems to be filled with individuals who all have a major problem...just can't get enough of the best band ever.

    A good group to be a part of, and the stories people post (and the comments) are insightful, funny, and all those other things the emoticons keep trying to say..

    Announcements... PJ radio... friends... to see what you are all doing. I know it's been said the PJ community is one of the most generous and giving I have been a part of.

    Pearl Jam always keeps me coming back... that and waiting for the PJ20 announcement...

    Really though, I am rather new here. I have always liked Pearl Jam since they came out in the early 90s but I never thought enough about joining a fan club. I always thought they were something you sent a self addressed stamped envelope to with 10 bucks and got a catalogue back to buy things. No real connection. I had always wanted to attend a PJ concert, but it seems something would always come up. I was in Maui during the War Memorial Gym show and I wish I had attended that show... Now that I am older I have delved deeper into the PJ catalogue. That has been the most fun for me. The most unique thing about PJ is the diversity of their music. Most bands you can say that their first album is the best, or 2nd or 3rd and for the most part, all the fans would agree. With PJ, there are so many different opinions on what the best record/time period is. It also makes it easier to listen to the same group for a while. There seems to be a song for every mood, good, bad, indifferent... What was a real pleasure to find were how Pearl Jam fans treat each other (as long as there isn't a ticket sale going on). I sign up for all these giveaways just so I can increase my PJ collection as I have very few items. Then one day I will be able to do a giveaway when I have some things to part with.

    I took a break for awhile, and I came back because the people in the forum are some of the coolest around, especially in Lost Dogs. I love the sense of community on here, it's infectious! So much so that I participated in my very own freebie a little while ago :lol: I just need to get more stuff to give away!
