    Put on your speed listening ears. They have great production on their albums, are great live too, but it is just not the same. Dont expect the clarity that you get from PJ.

    I love the Dropkicks early stuff and their energy . What I don't like is drunken frat boy types who can't hold their beer and enjoy soaking me with it, as happened when I saw them 3/8 of this year. I'll skip their live shows and confine my listening to cds and mp3s.

  • I saw them once when I took my stepsons. I didn't care for it. It's not for me, but I did like the montage of hockey fights they had up on the screen before they played. As far as Irish Punk goes, I like Flogging Molly better.

    Man... youtube their cover of "It's a Long Way to the top if you want to Rock & Roll" by AC/DC. It's BETTER then the original (and I LOVE AC/DC with Bon Scott).
