Wow. I was expecting good things tonight but they absolutely shredded those expectations. Only gripe? They didn't play long enough.

I'm also going on Monday. At first I wasn't sure if I really should have bought tickets to two shows but now I'm really glad that I did.

Yeah man. I saw them in St. Louis on Thursday and it was just so so amazing. Yeah they could have played longer, but with the energy they put into their performances it could be difficult.

Side note, Regine is not attractive but she's had me under her spell for like 30 hours. She's like this enchanted gypsy woman and when she danced with streamers...game over.

She's ugly and when she sings lead it's horrible. Not a big fan of much of their music, but when she sings it gets really annoying.

    Thanks for your input :?

The Winnipeg show in September was incredible, I was high on adrenaline for about a week after that :)

I was probably overstating it a bit, but I really don't think she should sing much. They look really awesome live and I'd kinda like to see them live, but I just can't find enough material to convince me to plop down the cash.

she's not ugly. she's multi-talented, cute and quirky, and she fucking rocks. if rock n roll was about perfect vocals i'd start listening to whitney houston. as it is, i'll stick with arcade fire.....and please do yourself a favor and plop down that money for a show. you won't regret it.

I should not have used the word "gripe" because I wasn't saying I felt short-changed at all. I'm just saying they definitely left me wanting more. Hell, a base ticket price of $51 by today's standards? I got waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than I was expecting.

How long do they play for? About an hour and a half?

you won't feel short-changed. trust me. i thought that going into my first arcade show as well, but did not leave disappointed. if anything, you'll just want to see them again. their show is pretty choreographed, so they don't mix up the set-lists much. they usually play about 16-19 songs? and at least 3/4 of them are staples that they will typically play every night. the thought of this may or may not disappoint you, but after seeing them, i doubt any of that will really bother you. the music is just so great, and the energy and passion that is exuded from each member, choreographed or not, is a thing of beauty. it's quite the experience. i've never spoken to anyone personally who has seen an arcade fire show and didn't feel moved after leaving.
