Anyone planning on going to this?

I'm seriously considering it, but wondering if parking and the ferry is going to be a total nightmare.

I would have to drive in, I think taking the train wouldn't really work for getting home to CT.

Dispatch and Gorgo? Yikes I want to go!!

    What's the consensus regarding the rationale for Atlantic City AND Governor's Island?

    I would've thought they were shooting for some variety in locations. Atlanta, Nashville, or somewhere in Texas would've made more sense to me.

    I agree. I could be wrong, but I'm almost 100% sure that the August festival was supposed to be in the south - that's what the original announcement said

    I was surprised as well. I thought the other weekend was going to be in Atlanta.

    I had heard NYC rumors, but didn't believe them.
    So now, what to do?

    Wonder if they will do day tickets?

    Insert Pearl Jam instead of DMB and I'd be all over this. And I'm not saying that to rip DMB, instead applaud them for putting together what should be a great show. I was never a fan of theirs so I will pass, but so many of my friends will be going to either AC or NYC.

    Very surprised about the Governor's Island/Atlantic City closeness, definitely a big bummer to all DMB fans in the south who were thinking there would be a Southern date. Of course I need to move into my apartment for school the weekend DMB are in my home state ...and of course the Atlantic City festival is during my work orientation! :evil: But all has recently got semi-sorted out, found out a few days ago that my best friend & I will be able to go the last day of the Atlantic City festival! Very excited!
