I think the "blog" is actually the video above the comments.
*Does not include encore of Garden and Leash.

I don't even see a PJ video blog. I see a Chuck Berry one I think.

It's just the guy driving in a car. I don't have sound, but from the comments it sounds like they're doing PJ trivia. I'm not really interested.

Go there when the PJ concerts are happening. He posts videos from the show in real time. It was really cool last night.

This guy was uploading clips/photos live from last nights show. Pretty cool except the sound sucked. Probably doing it again tonight

every show i think. the sound really ruined it for me, not worth it for the concert clips, but the happenings before and after the show are cool..

i saw carlos get interviewed in the "international fans" clip.

Yeah he's driving from West Palm Beach to Tampa.

The guy holding the camera is Zack Newman, he's following the whole tour, posting live video clips from before, during, and after the show. Very awesome.

Yeah, it makes a lot more sense when you throw in the live clips. Otherwise it's just a bunch of dudes driving around talking about Pearl Jam. How would you know they even went to the shows?

I'm mostly just jealous that this guy and his friends get to follow the whole tour, probably with expenses paid. I wonder if he'll try to talk to the band.

this seems like a knock off of the touring van folks. spin probably thought it was a catchy story and hopped on the let's interview pj fans band wagon.

personally i'd rather see the van folks get their tour paid for than this kid.

    Is that Wookie #17?
  • As I understand it, he is getting between shows with rises organized on the boards. The videos must be of the people giving him rides. I'll be giving him a few rides, so you'll see me and my carload of fans after the Columbia show!!

Aww! What a very very lucky guy! I would give anything to follow a whole tour of Pearl Jam..But yeah the clip is okay but the sound is really rough, but hey, he's doing it for the good of the other PJ fans that can't go to the shows...And he should definitely try and talk to the band...that'd be real cool :)

its not a van rip-off, i proposed the idea because i love pj and
i want to see their whole tour. spin loved the idea and hooked me up-
sort of. if you see the banner on the main site, they gave me one camera,
two tickets to each show, and a bit of meal money.
travel and sleep all had to be arranged by me,
so i blew up the boards and hooked up rides with some very excellent
PJ fans who support the experience.
sorry about the sound, but i'm gonna try and add a mic to the mix
    as soon as possible.
thanks for checking it out, hope you enjoy it,
and check back around 7pst for some pearl jam!

  • Cool job you have there, Zack. I certainly will be checking out each show and I'll see you in D.C.

Oh Hey Zack! You are sooo lucky! And that's awesome that Spin liked the idea, you're also going to benefit from it of course! Yeah, keep us posted man, it's still awesome to see PJ even though the sound is a bit choppy, but hey, it doesn't spoil it for me, so keep up the great work! And hope to see more footage of your tours! Have a great great time mate and know that any PJ fan probably supports this idea!

We all LOVE the touringfan guys and their FREE work they put into filming..Hey Zach, come on the boards more often to get out of your ghost status-17 posts? Had a blast riding up from Va. Beach with Evan and Zack yesterday. Always great to be with PJ diehard kindred souls. I think my ugly mug interview for the blog should have a "Warning: The scenes you're about to see are very graphic and could cause nightmares in small children" attached, but the blog kicks ass! Likewise the beard and Merkin Ball and Stickman ink.
