    i have to say, the Canada shows i hit in '05 were some of the best i've seen. the whole trip was amazing. the long drives between shows, great scenery, great people, everything. an amazing time.

    Yah the 2005 tour was pretty damned good. I saw the Gorge and Vancouver shows on that tour. Usually I'd rather catch PJ towards the end of a tour, as they play tighter, and the setlists get a bit longer, but they really rocked both of these shows and proved me wrong.

    That being said I'm planning a 3 week trip with some friends to travel around Europe starting Labour day weekend.

    I've never actually lived anywhere that pearl jam has played. Most of the time I'd trek from Victoria to Vancouver or Seattle. I live in Edmonton now, so I did get to cruise down to Calgary two years ago to see that show, which was pretty good as well (and it allowed me to go home after, which is a first for me :) ).

    I'll be pretty bummed if the shows are scheduled while I'm away. I've always gone to shows on the west cost where there are alot of fan club members. Seeing some shows out here in the Praries would be a pretty big opportunity to get some close seats :) (not to mention the possibility i could finally see PJ in a city that I live in :) ).

    I am really hoping that they squeeze in a Gorge show before or after their trek in Canada. Otherwise, it looks that I'll be trekking up to Canada.
