Hi everyone,

We are lucky enough to have lived in a time when you can listen to music from all over the world not having to travel there...I am a big Pearl Jam fan and, although I have been to Seattle, it really does not make a difference in the sense that you can enjoy music from everywhere anywhere. Culture just has no borders...

That said, I wanted to share with this wonderful community my love for flamenco, which is a music that primarily originated in Andalussia, the region of Spain where I was born. Are there any other fans of Flamenco around here? I know it must be difficult for some to get to know about it or to appeciate it since it is very different, but some flamenco guitarists like Paco de Lucia or Tomatito are known all around the world.

Happy easter to everyone!

I really enjoy flamenco. Many years ago I spent a lot of time in Madrid and Granada and often found myself at flamenco bars. The passion of the singers is truly amazing.
  • Actually I was born in Granada. What is incredible is that I was not a big fan of Flamenco until I left for Madrid to work and somehow I started missing my roots.

Anyway is just an incredible form of music.

It's dancing more than singing but very nice.
