In honor of all the fallen mustaches I have decided to write and record a song entitled "Where have all the mustaches gone?"
Then I would like to get some of my mustached friends together (John Oates,Lemmy,Lionel Richie, etc.) and sing it a la "We are the World" style...I'm expecting it to be a big hit.

I have to admit, it was pretty funny walking around Alpine seeing all those random mustache sightings.

It was almost like when you see a lady that might be pregnant but your not quite sure so you don't ask...I just wanted to compliment everyone on their stache. I did a few but others I didn't want to be like....Hey Man killer stache and then get punched in the face because they were the only one not in the movement and think that I was making fun of them.

But I did feel the mustache love and I am a little jealous because I can't grow one

:lol: I think it was a little easier for me to go up to people since I'm a girl...although I got a few strange looks when I pointed and yelled "Mustache people!!" on more than one occasion.
As a guy you might get a strange look saying "Hey dude. How are you? I just noticed you have a stache, and well I just wanted to say I really love it" :D

:lol::lol: In the last week I've had a number of guys compliment me on my stache. It's completely allayed any fears of akward situations opening a dialog with another stacher. I feel like I've joined some secret club for which there is no handshake :D:mrgreen:

So as always we are trying to come up with more new stuff, for the PJ20 "Don't Gimmie No Lip" Mustache Movement. I thought this might be a good idea. If any of you would like to participate, I'm going to do one more t-shirt design for the online merch booth. The front will look something like this...

    mqayamyomdcisgognkbk.jpg

What I'd like to do on the back is list everyone who participated in the movement (either by growing/wearing a mustache, buying merch, or by just making a small donation).
If you are interested in being included, please email me (mfc.heisenberg@yahoo.com) with how you would like to appear on the shirt (screen name, real name, etc. and how you contributed). If you are not comfortable emailing me, then please PM me and I will add you to the list. The deadline to get your name in is a week from this Saturday (Sept.17). Thanks again everyone and please keep in touch. Just because PJ20 is now over, doesn't mean the movement has to end. ;)

Also, Skreened is offering free shipping for the rest of September on all orders of $50 or more. So for those of you who wished you had a cozy hoodie to bundle up in on Sunday, might want to pick one up for next time. ;)

Don't forget to send Heis your info. if you would like to be included on the "Flashed my Stache" t-shirt! :D

  • I was there wearin the shirt an my 'stach (for a while on sunday..) was bummed that I didn't find much of anyone, except I was glad to meet Ashley and her crew...an apparently I did see Heis, I just didn't realise it till after the fact...I was so ever-loving pissed to find out the hard way that my camera battery was dead, so I got no photos :(

I didn't go with the girl I was supposed to..she flaked..I went with my dad instead and between his porno 'stach and black GI Army trench coat, he def looked like someone to keep the kiddies away from..An more than one person stated he looked questionable..The fella checking tix in the back (for the handicap) said he was scared cos my dad looked like he was from the mob LMAO..

  • Thank ya much...can't wait for PJ25 to do it all over again...this time with a working camera, and must remember my Gypsy flag...represent! Oh and, will absolutely go to the merch booths the first day, instead of trusting the dins when they say they will have as much stocked up the next day

Should we start a "Do a PJ25 Fest" thread now? Personally I'd like to do it again next year, but my pocketbook says otherwise..

If my dad had worn his black dress shirt with his white suspenders there woulda been no doubt in that feller's mind the mafia had arrived..mafia_kao_by_massy.gif

Maybe we should work this "your dad looks like he could be in the mob" thing to our advantage..Maybe he could help us "convince" more people to join the mustache movement ;)
