When I sold Benaroya tickets, I had over 200 people in line and only the first person got some. I sold just a single pair from our outlet and then was berated for an hour by disgruntled PJ fans. I feel the 10Club's pain.
anyone that waits in line instead of going online is crazy

Getting them online is way slower than the TM system in person if the TM guy knows what he is doing. You can avoid the confirmation prompts and the word you have to type and all the other steps. You just press a1 and a ticket spits out (if you use the old dos based system which is the backup system. When they went to a windows based system, it slowed it way down).0

Still, for a show like this at venues this small, you're going to have to be literally the first or second person in line to get your order processed while there's anything left. Plus you don't know how competent the person's going to be, that's kind of a gamble.
I'd rather take care of this "with my own two hands". That way I have no one else to blame if I get shut out. I mean, except for Ticketmaster, scalpers, ticket brokers, my computer, and anyone who's going to more than one show on this tour and/or bringing their non-PJ fan boyfriend/girlfriend.*Does not include encore of Garden and Leash.0 -

Oh, I agree. I do not suggest going in person, since TM sucks and most sellers work for the store not TM, they could give a shit how good your seats are. The retailers make a whopping 50 cents per ticket. I hated on-sale dates and wished it was all done on the web only.0 -
sec 65 row F for msg 2, but i've been buying singles for about 10 years now. it's common sense, not rocket science."One just escapes, one's left inside the well... and he who forgets will be destined to remember"0

I think reading this has made my mind up to go for 1 instead of 2. I was hoping to get 2 so I could actually go with a friend this time (I've been to several shows by myself) but with a show this small, I'll be lucky if I get 1. Hopefully I'll see some of you at DC!
edit: now I just have to decide to go to night 1 or night 2!!!!We're all different behind the eyes.

I've ALWAYS had better luck going to TM booth in person rather than online... the key is to find the most obscure booth so that there will be minimal lineup.... Online I always get stuck waiting in the queue, not to mention that I'm so nervous at my keyboard I practically want to throw-up....<a href="http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y50/kittykat699/?action=view¤t=PennysHawaiiDec2006031d.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y50/kittykat699/PennysHawaiiDec2006031d.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

yeah even back in the days before the internet, going to the TM outlet was sketchy. the people behind the counter were always chatting with their friends, or they would run out of paper in the ticket printing machine...ugh, what a nightmare.0
