Hello all.
It's my first post on here, so I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this...
Just wanted to let you all know that I (and some friends) recently put together a Pearl Jam tribute band called "Pearl Jammer" (http://www.facebook.com/pearljammeruk).
We've got our début gig at The Cavern Club in Liverpool on Sunday 15th May, with ALL money raised from ticket sales/door being donated to the Red Cross for the Tsunami appeal.
We play songs from every Pearl Jam album, and aim to re-create them as they were recorded (as opposed to the "live" versions Pearl Jam themselves play).
So, if you fancy coming to see 5 geniune Pearl Jam fans trying to raise money for a good cause, then get a ticket and come down on the night.
Tickets: http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/event/37004684B927D9BD
Take care all, and come say "hello" on the night!

Thanks Pap.
We're looking at putting a small tour together later in the year, so fingers crossed eh?
Sounds like a plan!
Again, if you fancy a night of Pearl Jam tunes and to help raise some money, then come along.
Take care all.
I am happy for you guys.
Thanks again Pap.
It would be nice if anyone off here came along, introduced themselves on the night?
Always nice meeting fellow PJ fans.
Had another rehearsal last night, and the set list is up to around 20 songs - so we're quite excited by that. Hopefully got a bit of something for everyone in there.
Ahh, that's a surprise haha.
Also to add that the mighty Mike McCready advertised the gig on his twitter page, which completely blew us away - so massive thanks again for that Mike.
Again, I'd urge you to cone along to this gig. Every penny from ticket sales will be donated to the Red Cross/Tsunami relief. I'll also add that we're sounding really good in rehearsals, so you'll be in for a treat on the night.
BUMP
Do you smell something?
Gentle reminder folks. It's this Sunday!
Really excited! Hope to see some of you there.
The turnout was amazing, the reaction overwhelming, and we raised over $1000 for the Tsunami appeal, so we're very, very proud of the night. It honestly couldn't have gone any better.
Everybody commented on how "authentic" we sounded, with the "attention to detail" being almost perfect - so again, that's something we're very pleased with.
We're looking forward to booking more gigs, so I'll keep you all up to date with what's going on.
For those who'd like to know, the setlist was:
Release
Corduroy
Animal
Go
Even Flow
I Am Mine
Given to Fly
Daughter/WMA
Jeremy
Nothingman
State of Love and Trust
Elderly Woman...
Spin the Black Circle
Rearviewmirror
Encore:
Betterman
Once
Black
Alive
Yellow Ledbetter
We're already polishing off more songs to add to the set, and long term we hope to be able to play almost (if not) all songs from all the albums (quite a challenge eh?).
So, thanks to everyone who came down. We all did so well for a great cause.
Take care, and see you at the next one?

Thank you boyo. Our drummer lives in Warrington so I'll mention it to him. We're just confirming a few more dates at the moment, so hopefully we can fit one in there too.
PJ Manchester MEN - 21.06.12
EV Manchester O2 Apollo - 28.07.12
PJ Leeds Arena - 08.07.14
We've just been confirmed for next years Glastonbudget Festival (www.glastonbudget.org), playing on Friday 1st June. Over 10,000 people attended this years one, so come along.
There's a load of new photo's posted on our facebook page too (www.facebook.com/pearljammeruk) along with 3 videos (Oceans/Jeremy/Alive) which someone in the crowd filmed. Quality is pretty good, so have a look/listen.
We'll also be posting more dates for next year very shortly, and are in the process of booking a full tour - so exciting times ahead for us all.
Take care, and hope to see some of you at a gig.
