    Cold Chisel BEST FUCKEN AUSSIE ROCK n ROLL BAND OF ALL TIME. I saw chisel play lots and they always rocked the joint down. I am so lucky to be an aussie and to have seen this great band. I think a big part of my personality and who I am come from cold chisel. They were a working man and womens band, good hard rock n roll. Their keyboard player Don Walker wrote most of their songs ,and let me tell you he is one fucken talented songwriter. Sadly their drummer Steve Prestwich died recently , during an operation to remove a brain tumor. R I P BRO. And if you didn,t like chisel HAHAHAHAHA you missed out big time, cause they were the greatest. Ride the line to hornsby station find my circus animals again. And lead singer jimmy barnes who by the way was one fucken wild motherfucker, is the father of the girl who supported Eddie Vedder on his recent australian tour. She,s a very good looking lady too, All Woman. Bass player was phill small and lead guitarist was ian moss, and he could bend the strings on that axe real fucken well. I have listened to lots of music and seen lots of bands in my 51 years but only two have touched me deep down in my soul and they are Cold Chisel and Pearl Jam. So no matter what my life has been ,and will be like I will die a happy man cause I have seen the two greatest bands of all time. I even got to pat jimmy barnes on the back and shake hands with Eddie Vedder fucken awesome. I even got Ed stoned on my homegrown dope. It don,t get much better than that, EXCEPT BECOMING A FATHER THAT IS THE GREATEST FEELING OF ALL. Well thats about it from me so to all my ten club sisters and brothers Peace and Love always Noel b.

    Hmmmm..... dare I piss off my fellow Aussie's? Don't worry, I am an American living here now, so maybe thats why??

    Anyway, not long after I got here to be with my g/f, the builders next door had the radio on and a Cold Chisel song was playing. When she told me 'oh, this is Cold Chisel' I thought she meant it was a style/genre of music!! :lol::lol:

    And I was like......'so you guys have that crappy country sounding crap too huh?' :lol::lol::lol:

    It was only one song, and I don't even remember which one it was, so I can't say it all sounds like that, but.....Aussie taste is odd at time! :mrgreen:

    I don't really have an opinion of them, it was more just an amusing story I thought. I don't mean to offend, I just mean to amuse. That is all. :mrgreen:

    I believe it was Khe Sahn, and I believe I told you at the time you said it that it was completely sacriligious to say that about that song!!!!!!! Never mind Aussie taste is odd...

    aaah well.. that explains it.. never was my fave chisel song i can tell you that... you can only hear drunken idiots sing it so many times before you start to hate even the thoguht of it. :lol:

    oh and thorns... you hear the wrong chisel song and youre scarred for life... but trust me when i say there are infinitely better songs of theres out there. though i suspect your girl already told you this and youre not listening to her. :P ;):lol:
