    I'll never understand why a team that is trailing would run the clock all the way down. That's ridiculous. Take the shot as soon as you can. If you miss, maybe you'll get an offensive rebound and put-back. And if your opponent gets the rebound, at least you can foul, put him on the line, and go from there.

    Yea, i don't get it either. Give the Star the ball at the top and he just stands ther and DRIBBLES. while the other 4 just stand ther too. It's RIDICULOUS. They want to be the Hero instead of ACTUALLY RUNNING A PLAY.

    That worked in the 90's cause you had to play man-to-man defense...zone wasn't allowed. So you could just throw it in to Michael Jordan and let him own his defender. And if you double-team, he'll pass it to Steve Kerr or whoever for an open jumper. But with zone now allowed, trying to have Lebron or Wade start at midcourt and create a shot for themselves is nearly impossible.
