I am trying to learn to play MofH. I am relatively new guitar player. On the studio the notes appear much lower than when he plays it on his solo tours. For his solo tours does he use a capo? Perhaps on the 10th fret? What about in the studio, which is def lower pitched notes doesn't he just use no capo and play G's C's, Am melody.

Ed uses a smaller guitar (not sure on the technical name haha) which has a higher pitch than your standard size guitar. If you put your capo on the 3rd fret (i think) you should be in the right key as Ed. Thats how ive done it anyway

He only does that at solo shows though right? Not at PJ gigs?

Yer thats only for his solo shows. The studio version or when he does it with the band is just no capo and your usual chords
