Is anyone else having trouble logging in to the site? I put in my email, username, whatever else....I have the correct info...they said my password is incorrect. I got the presale email...but not an email for my passsword (which I KNOW is correct).

They did this on the Chris Cornell site....still never got the password sent. My friend is having the same problem...I'm assuming I have to log in for the presale...

    any help :(

  • I'm stoked for the Toronto show! Perfect timing as well since I leave for Europe 2 days later.

I'm having the same problem with their website for the pre-sale stuff. I entered everything a few days ago before the deadline but never received a confirmation email. Can't log-in to the site now and I have not received anything after requesting a new password. Hopefully they get that stuff sorted out by Monday because I don't want to deal with the general public on-sale next weekend.

I am SOO pumped for penns landing

the first time I ever saw PJ was back in 06 at the tweeter center, and the night before it I was at Jam on the River at penns landing. Havent been to either of those places since.

So the first time I'll see my 2nd favorite band live will be basically at the same place I first saw my favorite band live. Plus coming from NJ, its a nice road trip.

How is the Penn's Landing venue? I haven't heard good things, but never been myself. I just hope the sound quality of Penn's is halfway decent...it's not like you get to see SG play regularly. I don't have tickets yet, but sure as hell hope I can score some on Saturday...

Got a ticket for Philly too. Also had NO problems. In fact, for shits & giggles, i checked for the VIP($199.00), which is too much for me. I threw them back and was still able to get my ticket in LESS then 5 minutes.
  • I can't believe how easy it was this morning. I was expecting it to be like Eddie Vedder all over especially with Mars Volta opening.

Yea, i thought it might be like that too but it wasn't. I just checked again(10:50), and tickets were still available. I never been to festival Pier before, but i heard on the radio that it holds no more then 4,000. True?

I think it's at the same place where they had Jam On The River. I saw John Butler there and it's real small. It should be an awesome show.

There are actually two venues on Penn's Landing . The Great Plaza i believe is the one that has been used in the past fr Jam on the river, there is a small seated area in front of the stage and a lot of stairs behind it. the sound there is terrible IMO, i went and saw both the Black Keys and MMJ there last summer and if you werent standing near a speaker or sitting in front of the stage it was very muddled and you could barely hear it. Festival Pier is just a few blocks down the same road and i think a far superior venue.
  • My tickets are stage seats, does anyone know what that means??

Well, thats good to hear that the sound at the Festival Pier is good for the sound, as i won't be gettting there early to get up front. That, and i'm too old to be getting up front with those young boys> I just want to be able to stand back(and i can reasonably see the band), and watch the show. Thanks for that info.

Oh yea, where EXACTLY is this Festival Pier? I know its on Columbus Blvd.(though us old heads call it Deleware Ave.> ), but what is the closest intersection? I assume its on the Deleware RIver side?

Yeah Festival Pier is on the river side. I forget what street it's near though (probably could google it). Last time i was at that one was for 311 about 5 years ago? Last year saw Black Keys and MMJ at the smaller one with the steps. There's plenty of parking around there. If you don't mind walking I would park on the opposite side near South St. (Where u can cross over). It's pretty cheap at $10. I'm sure parking will get more expensive when u get closer.

Mars Volta opening? They're ok. I saw them opening for System Of A Down and wasn't really too impressed with them live though.

Also what's up with their website? I can't get on there.

Thanks. I did google it and its at/near Springgarden. Was also thinking of parking where you suggested too.

I saw Mars Volta open for RHCP, and they didn't much for me, though i didn't know anything about them.

From what I saw, it sold through pretty quickly. I was only checking out of curiosity because I picked up my pair in the fan club presale. It was already up in the high colonnade sections side stage by 11am on Saturday.

Festival Pier should be called Festival Asphalt Parking Lot , but , having seen MMJ , 311 , and The Roots there, I like the venue. Nice to be on the river. Dave and Busters is close by and Lorenzo's midnight 'za run is only a long walk or short drive away.
