  • I was thinking the exact same thing the other day. Who You Are is such a great song. I'd probably put it in a tie for first place for the Most Underrated PJ Song Award along with 1/2 Full. Both should be setlist staples.

Me too ... but like I remember it at all :) It was soooooo long ago.

Also the only time to date that I have heard Tremor Christ and Red Mosquito.

    96, not 98, right?

I'd love to hear Who You Are live for the first time.

Would be a great compliment to Jack Irons if they'd break it out every once in a while.

Bring Who You Are back, Pearl Jam! You know you have to.

and bring back Jack while you're at it.

I, also, am glad that I got to see it once (though I missed the start of it b/c I went for an encore break piss and security gave me hassle as i tried to get back into the pit) but by the end I was back in the front row jiving away to it. Love that song...

  • I want to hear this song more than any other song I can think of.

was just thinking about this the other night. I think its time we can replace "crazy mary" and "evenflow" with a few rare tunes from the catalog. All you even flow people , do not freak out either, you have had plenty.

I heard it live back in 1996. I'd be a happy camper if they pulled this out again.

Why is it not played anymore? Can Matt Cameron not do the drums? Not a knock on him, because I'm sure he can. But these 'drum-related' tracks are either changed (In My Tree, although I love the new version) or dropped completely (Who You Are).

    would love to see this,

also haven't seen in my tree since 05 and need to again!
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

Matt just doesn't have the subtle touch of Jack. Matt's a big hitter, and he's good at that. But Jack had a level of nuance, intricacy and fluency that I don't think Matt's capable of.

I don't think we'll ever hear Who You Are live again, & I'm not sure I want to hear Matt try.

It's a shame, because I love that song

If "Who you are" or "No way" made an appearance on this mini-tour it would be amazing. It would be awesome to have those songs or some others like Pilate, Tremorchrist and maybe even Arc sprinkled in just to keep us on our toes! Doubt it'll happen but you can always hope

I don't think Cameron can do it justice, and I'd rather it not be played than to hear it butchered. Not a knock on Matt, but the song requires Jack's touch.
