C'mon QOTSA

What the hell is going on with the re-release of QOTSA's self titled album? I've had the vinyl pre-ordered since late last year. It was supposed to be out in January but the damn thing has been pushed back like 5 times. It's now slated for May 21st. Is Josh Homme hand pressing each copy or something? At this rate they will have an album of new material out before the reissue. :evil:

    they were selling them at the concert i went to. i was an idiot and decided to wait to get it later on in the night so i didn't need to carry it around for hours. by the time i went back they were all sold out. :(

    Its not being rereleased by Music on Vinyl,by chance?

    I pre-ordered mine in February and just got an email this week from Domino Records saying they have finally received all product from the old manufacturer and will be shipping them out Monday and Tuesday of next week :D I'm expecting mine to be in by April 16th or so. Really looking forward to spinning that vinyl :mrgreen:

    you sure? one of my friends bought the vinyl at the chicago show thinking it was the reissue and it was just the old one

    Hmmmm...I guess I will give Domino a shot then. My original pre-order was with Amazon.

    Yeah, keep in mind that youre waiting for amazon to get their shipment from the record l label before they can ship it to you.

    Understood but pushing it back multiple times and over a 4 month period is ridiculous.
