anyone in the Orlando area...?

ever been to this Florida Music Festival they hold down in Wall Street Plaza? A band i LOVE, J Roddy Walston & the Business is playing there tonight. Granted their set is only about an hour long (if that) but I'm unable to make the Gainesville show on Sun so I'm contemplating driving the 2 hours or so after to work tonight to check it out. I was just wonderin about the area and if it's worth the trip. thx

    what kidna music do they play? I am in Gainesville and dieing for good live music. I even went to see the Indigo Girls when they were here a couple months ago just to see a live show.

    Where they playing on Sunday?

    Moving down here from Boston (and NYC before that) has been interesting....

    they play at COmmon Grounds on Sunday doors open at 6pm. It's good ole fashion barroom rock n roll. I've heard they put on a cant miss live performance so you should definitely check em out. Plus tix are only like 8 bucks i think. Here's a couple vids:

    so what brought you to gainesville anyway? School? Let me know if you ever come up to the Jax area

    im here for a few years because my wife has a residency at UF. ive only been to jax to go to the airport, but maybe i should come check the town out...
