    Ok...all is forgiven in regards to that shitty video because the album is flat out awesome. This might be their best since Check Your Head.

    Listening to a replay of the live stream now. The world is just a better place when PJ and the Beastie Boys are working on or putting out new material. I swear, if PJ announces their festival in the next couple of days I may just have a fucking stroke.

    Two summers ago I booked tix and a flight to San Francisco to Outside Lands. PJ was the Friday headliner and Beasties were the Sunday headliner. Looking forward to the greatest three days when the Beasties had to back out because of the throat cancer. Damn....but still saw PJ!

    I had tix to see the first BB show that was cancelled. I was so bummed because I had not seen them live for 5 years at that point. At least I got Jay Z as a replacement.

    I like the new album on first listen- I may grow to love it.

    Yes...the 30 minute video sucks but the album is awesome.

    After only two listens, I have mixed reactions. This probably will not be making my best of the year list, but I think I will be enjoying it.

    So what's everyone think? I think there's a Hello Nasty vibe to it which I like. I guess some tracks will go into rotation with all my B-Boy favorites and others won't. I really like "Too Many Rappers", "Lee Majors Come Again", "Don't Play No Game..", and "Make Some Noise." I love the choruses of "Tadlock's Glasses" and "Crazy Ass Shit" but the verses don't really do it for me. Overall though, I think I like this better than 5 Boroughs, even if some of the lyrics here are incredibly silly even by Beastie standards (Mike D spits "knick-nack-patty-whack" at one point). But as always with the Beasties, it's all in good fun.

    After 10 listens- I like it a lot but I would probably put it behind their first five albums. I feel it is front loaded.

    I agree except for Paul's Boutique. The last track is my favorite.
