Three Incredible Albums Come Out on 4/12

1) Nine Types of Light by TV on the Radio
2) Tomboy by Panda Bear
3) Wasting Light by Foo Fighters

Got a chance to listen to these two albums today and I can honestly say they will both be in contention for my favorite album of the year. I highly recommend checking these two albums out if you are in the mood for slower music that is highly creative and powerful.

Both sites allow you to listen to the two albums legally a week before they are officially released. I hope at least one person finds some enjoyment from this post :D .

    i havent listened to either but i downloaded the tv album right when it leaked about a week and a half ago. looking forward to that one. didnt get to spend much time with Dear science.

    and tomboy is gonna be pretty incredible. the indie blogs are gonna explode. his last solo album was looked at in terms of near biblical importance, and we all know how much loved AC is, so i expect p4k to give the album a high 9's or something.

    interested to hear both albums. with the tomboy album, im waiting until a higher quality rip leaks.

    Dear Science is great too. I honestly think TV on the Radio is the band releasing the best albums over the past 5 years. They are consistently great from start to finish.

    I am going to see them next Tuesday (the day the album drops) in their hometown of Brooklyn. The place only fits 550 people and the ticket came with an autographed event poster. Should be great.

    I didnt realize who Panda Bear was until I just went on Animal Collective's site.

    Anyone know when they are making a new album?

    Stoked for the TV on the Radio album. I'd add another great album coming out 4/12. Foo Fighters "Wasting Light."

    Not really sure about the new AC album but I would guess either late this year or early next year. The last one came out in Jan 2009.

    Oh yea I forgot about that one. Not a big Foo fan myself, but I bet there are a lot more people on this forum excited about that one compared to the two I mentioned.

    I really, really liked Nine Types of Light.
    Tried Tomboy, got annoyed soon, but I was listening in garden, from laptop, which is annoying to start with, so I should probably give it another listen.
