She's just about #1 everywhere. Went to see her in Madrid this past weekend. Pretty amazing.

It's better after the first 5-10 seconds.
I got Someone Like You on Video as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tdXJK39DJc

What a drastic difference between 19 and 21. I really liked her vocal style on 19 - being all over the place...experimenting with her gift. Seems like they advised her to tone that down on the new album. I also liked the simple guitar work on 19...which there isnt really much guitar on the new album...mostly piano. 21 also seems to be way more produced...but I guess that comes with the popularity. Hoping she manages to get back to her original style of singing on her next album. Im sure she'll have more input in that regard on the next album.
The Brits certainly know whats up when it comes to good music. US is always late to the game it seems.

Stunning voice and so beautiful in her own way a unique women unlike all the other generic ones out there.
I would love to see her live but she sells out in a heartbeat although I think my heart would stop hearing her sing live.
Although I seem to remember it being early Saturday evening.
I saw some chick singing that blew me away!

No worries, I've seen about 500/600 shows in my life that includes festival, arena, stadium and club shows I can't keep track and sometimes have to think REAL hard if I have seen someone live or not. But I love Adele, I don't have the new disc, but I have her previous one, 19 and it's great.

United Palace Theatre- love that place. Saw Eddie twice, Sonic Youth from second row center, Beck, and most recently Fleet Foxes.

Yeah, the SLC show is sold out too. Even my friend who works for United Concerts and has normally been able to get me into a show said this one is not doable.

Nope, unfortunately I only started liking Adele after the tix went on sale and that night was not good for me anyway.
I will catch her one day though.

The '21' stuff is really getting me though - getting lots and lots of airplay in the UK as you would imagine - I still can't get enough of Someone Like You, despite having heard it loads and loads - most songs would suffer from being overplayed the amount of times I have heard this on the radio - but if anything I am finding this song keeps getting better and better. She does have a stunning voice - a really emotional singer. I downloaded '21' a few weeks ago, and got a lot from it- then put it to one side. Since then I've been hearing Rolling in the deep a lot on the radio and loving that, and now Set Fire To the Rain, which I think is the new single - and loving that as well.
Quite a talent!
