JUST

Damp
but I still walk under the rain
Forward, up & sometimes over
Under
The drops of water
Falling again

Wet
as I still climb to the top
Under the heaviness of my clothes
Vexing outwards my affliction
Resting myself above my moving legs, disclosed & soaked

Waiting for the sun to dry
These drips of blood because I
Temporarily
Sliced myself open
Reaching from the edge of a star

My eyes in front of me
Waiting
I am on & from
The edge of a star
Footed
By a requisite heft
