    spending a long weekend with my oldest and dearest friends. How lucky I am. Oh, and returning form the land of no cell phone, interwebz, or TV and finding out that a second EV show was added in Oakland- and being able to purchase a ticket. 8-) Very lucky I am.

    waking up to my 18 month old daughter chatting to herself.........bringing her into bed with me, and cuddling there for half an hour while she sleeps with her head on my chest. (that happened this morning).

    its 5:55am and I hear my 13 year old daughter's alarm go off. I am on the couch watching TV in the
    darkness of the morning. She comes down the stairs and without speaking a word she curls up
    and snuggles into/under my shoulder and says..morning daddy, I love you.

    works for me almost every morning. :)

    love it, when i am lying on my couch and my girlfriend lies on my belly, holding my hand and sleeps peacefully.
