strumming pattern help on yellow ledbetter

so, i have been messing around with the guitar for a few months. I just want to be able to strum the chords to yellow ledbetter (E B A E), but i have no rhythm. Can someone walk me through the strumming pattern for this... i listen and watch youtube videos but i get lost quickly...i am guessing it is something like down, partial down, up, partial down, down....
