you have nothing to worry about with those seats, unless your sitting next to the guy in a basketball jersey who decides to just start taking a piss on the seat in front of him. yea, this happened. security kicked him out, even after he tried denying it. then the next night Ed made fun of him, haha.

I do like that theater too. I think you'll enjoy this theater even more! Especially if you have floor seats.. I've never sat at the balcony before here

Nice, I think you'll be here for the Taste of Chicago too.... Although some days it can be really crowded and not even worth going..... But a walk by the lake and planetarium is always nice!

the floor section is nicely sloped, great spot to be, for anyone that has never been to Chicago Theater, i would say go in early and go all the way to the top and look down its an awesome experience,

I was able to get tickets to Mezzanine Box Y last night. Does anyone know if these are decent seats? Are they better or worse than than the balcony? It looks like we will be sitting far to the right but below the balcony seats.

I don't have an answer to your question... but based on the location they look like great seats. I've never been to the Chicago Theatre but I have an option of possibly sitting in the back of the floor or at the back of the balcany. Has someone sat in either locations... what would you recommend?

I instantly thought the floor would be better, but I have a short wife and the balcony looks like it has a larger slope...

    Thanks for the help...

the Taste of Chicago is a week long festival that may or may not happen this year (each year the mayor talks about ending it cuz of "no money").... it's free but this year it might cost $... it's basically a bunch of food restaurants selling food outside, mostly overpriced, but some of it's good... If you're from out of town you might not be used to having so many food selections available to you at once.. There's usually free concerts too, Umphrey's McGee played a few years ago.. I wouldn't leave the Eddie Show for it lol... The festival ends at 9 pm

It's still happening. I believe to keep it free, the Mayor cut out all the national music acts--citing that as the reason the festival wasn't making any money.

Anyways--for the guy not from here, it's pretty cool to stop at during the day. It's basically "taste" sized portions of food from all sorts of different Chicago restaurants. Worst case, it's a good excuse to walk around Grant Park.

Not really too concerned where I sit, happy to be able to have the privilege of seeing Eddie Vedder in an intimate venue yet again - I have a great dad, and he's developed a real passion for the guy through me. This will be my fourth Eddie show, three of which will have been with my dad, and I know that he loves the shows nearly as much as me, despite the fact he still hasn't found his Pearl Jam love yet (I'm working on it). No matter where Ten Club puts me, I know it'll be a hell of a show, and hope you all feel the same
