My girlfriend and I went looking through my DVD collection as we were playing a little movie weekend, and oddly enough we picked out 3 John Cusack films. (Grosse Pointe Blank/Say Anything/High Fidelity)
All great movie, which have some unreal tunes in them, Cusack seems to be a huge music fan in general. But anyway found it weird to have picked out 3 of his movie but I'm glad we did. I'm a sucker for his movies, anyone else this way when it comes to a John Cusack? What's your favorite of his work?

Lloyd Dobler in Say Anything remains a classic. He is also a big fab of the band; on Ed's last solo tour in Chicago he was there and Ed played 'The One' from The Who/Pete Townshend for him.......

I really enjoyed him in The Grifters. Runaway Jury is another must-see.

Do you realize the street value of this mountain?
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.

I liked Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and Runaway Jury. And yes, High Fidelity. :) I saw him in person once pretty close by (across the street), and he is a much bigger man than I thought he was.
  • He dated Claire Forlani and is therefore one of the luckiest men in the world.
