So I know it was rumored by many since they have not anounced any shows beside east coast but I stumbled upon this. http://www.ticketsplus.com/ResultsGeneral.aspx?stype=0&kwds=pearl%20jam

Most of these brokers do not put up dates unless they are pretty legit especially cause they dont wanna have to deal with returning people money if it is false.

    Grand Rapids 5/06

It is in Chicago and Of course they could do it 2 years in a row there is no rule that says you cant do that. Look how many bands play Bonaroo on consecutive years. Plus they have not even sold tickets for Lolla yet they are going to announce the Lineup on April 7th so dont be surprised if you see them on it. Also I wouldnt be surprised if they are on the Virgin Mobil Festival in Baltimore on August 8th-10th

Lolla is gonna rock with or without them

with them preferred, but we'll know for sure come april 7. I doubt a rumor would not have leaked by now though if they were.

that broker probably just has it listed under their name because of last year. Too lazy to update their datatbase.

Lolla used to travel town to town, but the newest incarnation has had it 3 days only in Chicago(fine by me)

I would be shocked if they played that, but you certainly got my hopes up. Of course, The Who did play it...

Goodness. I just bought tickets today to Lolla, partly on the strength of the NIN rumor as early bird tickets just went on sale today. It would be nice if PJ was there but there's so many rumors right now - Radiohead, NIN, Rage...

(I got my Camden tickets too)
    R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.
    R.i.p. My Dad - May 28, 2007
    R.i.p. Black Tail (cat) - Sept. 20, 2008

Sounds like our credit card bills from today are identical :)

And there's no way PJ will be there again. There will never be a headliner there 2 years in a row...and regardless there would have been rumors by now. Sunday night will be Radiohead.

Lolla and Austin City Limits are run by the same company and generally share acts over the years.

You'll see Pearl Jam at ACL before they return to Lollapalooza...

I don't see Pearl Jam playing Lolla for the second year in a row. Not when they're considered the main act. I can see some of the smaller bands coming back again and again, but I would imagine Lolla would want to change up the headliner.
