I am a new 10c member. If tickets go on sale soon, would it be better to buy through 10c or through Ticketmaster? I'm not really sure how the system works.

I don't see why you wouldn't want to go with 10C. For a general admission show, definitely go with 10C.

Here's how the system works.. 10C members get the best seats..and Ticketmaster is a crap shoot.. Roll the dice however you think you should..
Buy the ticket, Take the ride..

    10/20/91 (Omaha), 7/25/92 (Lolla/Denver), 3/7/94 (Denver), 6/20/95 (Red Rocks), 11/14/97 (Oakland), 6/23/98 (Denver), 10/25/00 (SD), 6/05/03 (SD), 10/8/04 (FL), 7/2/06 (Denver), 7/17/08 (VH1-Who Tribute LA), 10/6/09 (LA), 10/7/09 (LA), 9/3/11 & 9/4/11(PJ20), 12/06/13 (Seattle), 10/09/14 (Lincoln)..
  • depends on the tour.

in 2003 i was able to get the first few rows... when it was blocks of tickets and showing up to the venue at 7 in the morning meant something. ( i miss the breakfast, bbq's, and playing catch in line. )

in 2006 i was pretty far back and had friends score ticketbastard tickets that were far superior to my 10c tickets.
