2011 MLB Season Predictions

I had a semi-successful set of predictions last year. I picked Rays, Twins, Rangers and Red Sox(WC) in the AL and Phillies, Cardinals, Dodgers and Giants(WC) in the NL. I had the Twins over the Cards in the WS. Obviously that didn't happen but I am pretty pleased with getting 5/8 of the post seasons teams correct (including the Giants and Rangers). I hope to do as well again this year. So, here goes:

    Phils will win the East, but I do like Atlanta to take the wild card.

    Atlanta is officially the sexy pick - aka everyone feels like a genius picking them. Steve Berthiaume on ESPN picked ATL......and Houston to win the Central. :roll:

    Im not taking them cuz everyone else is taking them JP. I look at the best teams in the NL (Phil, Cinci, SF, LAD), then the second tier teams (Atl, StL, Mil, Colorado) and Atlanta is (in my opinion) the best of the rest. SF and LAD will kill each other this season, so I don't expect the WC to come out of that division.

    I predict the Mets will trade Reyes mid-season for prospects. Where he goes will be intresting.
