According to their Twitter.

Apparently, some new stuff, some covers. Hopefully it will be more like their old sound and not like their Shrek sound.

Nothing they ever do will top their first two records.

They stunk after the first album. One of the worst shows I've seen, especially after Live rocked their asses off to open the show.
  • I wouldn't say stunk, but, shit, the Shrek song really really ruined that band for me.

Hopefully this will inspire some vinyl reissues. Have you seen the prices on ebay!?
  • Getting AAEA on vinyl would give me a permanent boner.

This I'd like to see. The vinyl, not your boner. Although I'm sure it's impressive.

I agree with their newer stuff sounding too bubble gum pop, but their newest stuff, from Saturday Nights and Sunday Mornings, is where they should have been evolving since This Desert Life. It doesn't have the cache of radio friendly hits their first two albums did but at least it was earnest and more straight rock and roll.

Their first two or three albums were released on vinyl.

Aw come on, now. I love This Desert Life. Mrs. Potter's Lullaby may be my favorite Counting Crows song
